Street in Giverny
Claude Monet settled in a small town in France called Giverny. His home is still there. Tourists flock to the location to see his gardens and lily pond. This painting shows the street which is steps away from his home. I had visited there with my wife and my daughter’s family. I loved going to the Monet estate, but was enthralled by the little French village. It had been raining and the reflections in the wet roads added to the magic of the place.
