My daughter makes a very yummy salad. The last time we had it, I couldn’t get over how beautiful it was. That’s why I decided to paint it. I’ve tried to show highlight and shadow to give it depth. Note the different shades of color in each object.

Salad:
3 small cucumbers, diced
1lb grape tomatoes, halved
1/2 each yellow and orange bell pepper, diced
2 green onions, finely sliced
12 kalamata olives, halved and pitted
1 15-oz. can chickpeas, drained
Salt and pepper
Dressing:
1 T fresh dill, finely chopped
1 T fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1 T fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 lemon peel, finely grated
1 T lemon juice
3 T olive oil
Garnish:
Crumbled feta cheese
Combine salad ingredients. Combine dressing ingredients; toss with salad. Garnish with feta cheese.
