Honfleur is a French city in Normandy where the Seine river meets the English Channel. William the Conqueror departed from here in 1066 as he was on his way to invade England. The harbor is lined by tall buildings built from the 16th to 18th century. I really wanted to do a painting of it, so here it is.

Like your work. just surfing and saw your name and website. Re your Honfleur thought I would pass on to you that my family is from western Ireland and traces it ancestor back to the Normans. 1066 and all that. I am painter too and like what you do (can’t help the rhyme).
