Harbor Morning
l love boats. It’s great, sitting in them as they bob up and down in the water. The air smells good. The seagulls sing. The blue shadows are in contrast to the golden hues of the sunlight. This painting has a lot of atmospheric perspective — the boats are big, sharp and colorful. The houses on the hill are small and subdued. This gives a feeling of depth.

I really love this one. This looks like a very difficult painting with a lot going on. I love the feel of it and the lighting. I wish I was there!
